“This programme helped me a lot with experience that I needed to get a job and showcase my skills. I am so grateful, thank you.”
Agriskills Development
We develop and run training programmes that provide the skills and experience needed for entrepreneurship and employment in agriculture.
Delivery formats
We consult on, design and implement agriskills development programmes in the following formats:
Agricultural incubators for graduates
We build and run agricultural incubators on behalf of Corporations, Foundations and NGOs. Tertiary Institutions select promising graduates who spend year one learning from agripreneurs and coaches and farm their own tunnels under mentorship in year two.
Bootcamps in townships
Attendees learn the fundamental principles of farming with the African Grower enabling them to grow their own produce at home.
Online training
We are developing an online training course, in partnership with North-West University, to train unskilled workers in hybrid-hydroponic farming.
We’ve spent almost ten years developing and refining best practice delivery methods for agri-skills and socio-economic development within agriculture.
We developed The African Grower, the only hybrid hydroponic system on the market that doesn’t require running water or electricity. The vertical design requires little space and is naturally pest-resistant, and the system is cost-efficient and naturally high-yield, requiring little fertilisation.
Organisations we work with contribute to and benefit from an economic ecosystem spanning the agricultural supply chain, from production to consumption, generating both supply and demand of produce.
